Taylor-Momsen

Taylor Momsen was born in the city of St. Louis, Missouri. She is an American model/singer/actress, singer/songwriter and model. She is known for playing Jenny Humphrey as part of the CW drama Gossip Girl, and also as the lead singer of rock band The Pretty Reckless. Her music has been featured on films and television shows such as How to Be Single, Going the Distance and Two and a Half Men. Taylor Momsen was born on the 26th of July 1993. She is the younger sibling of Sloane Momsen who is also an actor. At the Center of Creative Arts is where she studied dance. She began acting professionally when she was three in a 1997 national commercial for Shake and Bake. Momsen's professional career was put on hold for three years, until she got the lead part in the film Misconceptions. Momsen also appeared on the show Saving Shiloh in the year 2006. Momsen also tried out for the lead role in Hannah Montana and was in the top three but it was given to Miley Cyrus.
