Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco is an American Canadian singer and songwriter. There are more than 20 albums that were released by her. DiFranco classifies her music as folk-rock or alternative. But it includes influences like punk, hip-hop and jazz. Ani DiFranco, widely regarded as the feminist's icon and Grammy award-winning musician is thought to be to be the first founder in DIY music. She was among the very first musicians to establish their own labels in 1990. The parents of DiFranco, Elizabeth (Ross), a former student at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Dante Americo DiFranco met each other while they were both attending. Her father is Italian origin, while her mother comes from Montreal. 32 Flavors was a track that was written by as well as performed by Ani DiFranco. This song appeared on her album Not a Pretty Girl which was released in the year 1995. One version of this song can be heard on the 1999 Canadian romantic movie Better Than Chocolate. In 2013, DiFranco apologized after it was revealed that she would be hosting a three-day workshop on an old Louisiana plantation for slaves. Her home is New Orleans. Ani DiFranco is with Kristen Ford. Within 14 years she began creating her own music. She played them at bars and coffee houses throughout her teens. DiFranco, who graduated at age 16, at the age of 16, from Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts High School, was the first taking classes in Buffalo State College. The baritone of Ani is a custom Alvarez guitar that was made through a series of consultations with Chrys, an Alvarez representative for artists during the time. It's equipped with the System 600 preamp is on it, and the guitar is made of mahogany on the top and back with an ebony fingerboard. The model is located with her family in New Orleans where she lives with her husband two children and sidekick Lefty their long-legged dog that wanders in and out of frame when we're talking. DiFranco admits she's ambivalent regarding the notion that she could look back at her career retrospectively, even though it's been three years. Ani DiFranco achieved musical iconic status as a songwriter/singer as well as punk/folk around the age of 25, both among critics and fans, with Not A Pretty Girl. The pop-rock hit song from 1972, Brandy (You're a fine girl) was composed by the American band Looking Glass for their debut album Looking Glass. Elliot Lurie wrote the song.
