Hayley Orrantia is the American actor, singer and songwriter. People are familiar with her because of her role in the role of Erica Goldberg on the popular show on television 'The Goldbergs.' But, she is to be primarily a musician. Music is her first love she maintains; it is something she has dabbled in since she was only nine years old. She began training in the field of music professionally at 12 years old. The year 2013 saw her take the plunge into songwriting and made her first album. From that moment on, she has never ever looked back. Orrantia was born in the USA but has Hispanic roots. While she has never lived in or spoke Spanish in Mexico However, she is extremely proud of her Hispanic roots. By learning Spanish and writing songs, she tries to maintain the spirit of her culture. "Hasta Verte", a Spanish-language song which she recorded is an illustration. Orrantia performed for The X Factor during its first season, in summer 2011. Orrantia got selected from the submission of a YouTube video that she submitted and got the judges' four "yes" vote from judges in the live audition stage in Seattle, Washington. She originally auditioned solo, but during the "Hollywood week" she was put along with three female vocalists into a trio for remaining auditions. They were eliminated from the show during the fifth live week.
